Prayer Shawl Ministry



No two shawls the same – all handmade with several colors in each one.



Each shawl has 3 tags attached to it: 1) explains the use of the prayer shawl, 2) explains the symbolism represented by the colors used in the prayer shawl, 3) a picture of Mt. St. Helens, with the scripture Matthew 28:70 "I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Every shawl is anointed with oil and prayed over with the prayer being that it will be used by God in helping people feel His peace, His love, His healing touch and His presence. The shawl is “God’s Big Hug” to the person using it no matter what they may be facing in their life.

If you have a friend, family member, neighbor or an acquaintance who needs encouragement, God’s touch or just a big hug from God, consider giving them a prayer shawl.

The prayer shawls are made in a variety of different colors – depending on availability of the yarn. When ordering please list the color of your choice, such as; medium blue, dark blue, tan, red, brown, cream, etc. Each shawl is approximately 28"” wide, but can be made wider at an additional cost. Because the prayer shawl is handmade and orders are to be prepaid allow 2 -3 weeks for delivery after your payment has been received.

Sizes available:

60"” approximately long - 30 (normally for a child)
80"” approximately long - 35 (average size person)
100"” approxmately long - 40 (large person)
(Lengths may vary depending on the yarn being used in the shawl.)
